The Green Hand is a new piece that I have been working on for a number of years. This vision came when I was imagining humanity and all the different beings that work together to regenerate the ecosphere. Hildegard Von Bingen, the great 12th century Abbess, called it Viriditas, which is the greening power of God that regenerates in every season. It is this idea that we are part of the hands that are uplifting nature. -Alex Grey
These cozy blankets are woven in the U.S. using 100% recycled cotton! We partner with a small mill here on the east coast of the US, and so there are only a limited number of blankets able to be woven per batch. Artists supporting farms & families: We hope you enjoy these blankets as much as we do!
