Inkwash - Woven Tote
This museum quality tote is made in the USA from 100% cotton, with a fully woven tapestry exterior featuring the original artwork, Complementary Planned Randomness by Allyson Grey on both sides, with a black cotton canvas interior.
With permanent ink, clear water, my favorite 000 brush and the best art paper made, I painted “grey scales” for two solid years - that’s black to white in ten steps, white to black in ten steps. A meditation in which every new shade of grey has to be halfway between the last shade and the next unknown shade, is intended to create a smooth transition. The series evolved endless fields, represented by the wallpaper in Chaos Order Secret Writing Gallery Two in Entheon. - Allyson Grey
